Student clubs and organizations offer students the opportunity to gain experience in special areas of interest, including: community philanthropy, advocacy for the occupational therapy profession, mentorship of other students, social events with students in fellow health disciplines, and clinical practice areas. The membership of these organizations may be merit-based, volunteer-based, or elected positions.
