Entry Level MA: Updating Your Grades and Planned Coursework on OTCAS
Many of you have asked how to update your OTCAS application with coursework that you have completed since submitting your application. There is an option to complete an ‘Academic Update’ on OTCAS to allow you to add updated grades or planned/in-progress coursework. If you submit an academic update, you will need to send your official transcripts for any relevant coursework to OTCAS per the instructions they provide.
Academic Update is available through OTCAS only for applications with at least one program verified by February 15, 2017.
You cannot modify courses that were originally reported to OTCAS as completed. OTCAS permits applicants to report grades only ONE time during the Academic Update period, so please keep this in mind when deciding when is best to submit an Academic Update. After OTCAS receives your updated application and official transcripts, your new grades will be verified, and a new GPA will be calculated.
Note: OTCAS does not accept student-issued (unofficial) transcripts.
