The Mrs. T. H. Chan Division of Occupational Science and Occupational Therapy at the University of Southern California invites applicants to apply for a full-time time clinical faculty position. The successful candidate will serve as the Director of Academic Fieldwork and Doctoral Capstone Coordinator. The candidate will oversee all academic fieldwork and the development, execution, and evaluation of all entry-OTD doctoral capstones to ensure alignment with the entry-OTD curriculum design. As Director of Academic Fieldwork, this position will oversee and guide the academic fieldwork team on the development of and continued partnerships with existing fieldwork sites through collaboration and consultation with community educators regarding curriculum requirements and expectations, as well as all other team operations, including student placement, advisement, orientations and seminars. As the Doctoral Capstone Coordinator (DCC), this position will develop a process for advising students on the doctoral capstone, such as exploration of professional interests and goals, capstone site selection, and capstone immersion and implementation to facilitate an integrated curricular experience, in collaboration with program faculty. Additionally, the Doctoral Capstone Coordinator will develop policies and procedures to maintain compliance with the American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA) Accreditation Council for Occupational Therapy Education (ACOTE) Standards for the Doctoral Capstone. This position will include mentoring responsibilities and may include some teaching.

The anticipated start date for this position is February 16, 2022. Qualifications include: an earned O.T.D. OR Ph.D.; experience working as an academic fieldwork coordinator and/or doctoral capstone coordinator; and current license to practice occupational therapy in California.
