Assistant/Associate Professor — Instructional-Non-Tenure Track (OPEN RANK)

The Mrs. T.H. Chan Division of Occupational Science and Occupational Therapy at the University of Southern California invites applicants for one full-time clinical faculty position. The successful candidate will primarily work with the Division’s current faculty members to attract and recruit high caliber students to the University and the Chan Division educational programs and will do some teaching.

The primary functions of this position will include counseling and advising applicants, written and verbal communication regarding the status of admissions applications, handling confidential information, preparing and facilitating information sessions for prospective students, making admissions decisions in accordance with guidelines, and working collaboratively with the Chan Division admissions, recruitment and marketing teams to ensure sufficient outreach to attract highly qualified applicants.

Qualifications include: an earned terminal degree (OTD, or PhD in occupational science preferred); excellent written and verbal communication skills; and current license to practice occupational therapy in California. Experience in academic administration, complex decision-making, teaching in higher education, and clinical practice as an occupational therapist are preferred.
