Clinical Faculty Position – Sensory Integration Pediatric Services
The Chan Division of Occupational Science and Occupational Therapy at the University of Southern California invites applicants for one full-time clinical faculty position to join our growing pediatric clinical mission. The successful candidate will work with the Division’s leadership and leadership at our pediatric clinical sites of service to develop, implement, and support pediatric occupational therapy clinical services and programs using a sensory integration approach. Candidate will be responsible for mentoring and training of faculty, staff, residents, and students in sensory integration theory, assessment and intervention for pediatric clients, and will serve as a liaison for clinical research initiatives and projects, contributing to scholarship and knowledge mobilization. Position is available in Sensory Integration Pediatric clinical service lines.
Qualifications include: an earned Doctoral degree (OTD, Ph.D.); excellent clinical ability (clinical experience in sensory integration (SI) assessment and treatment (including Ayres SI model), clinic-based pediatric service design and delivery preferred); Sensory Integration Continuing Education Certificate (preferred); minimum 5 years experience working with infants, children, and adolescents; experience in the management, supervision and mentoring of students and staff, and current license to practice occupational therapy in California. This position is available 10/01/2021.
