Colette Urashima Nagami OTR/L
Colette Urashima Nagami, OTR/L, is a distinguished alumna of the USC Occupational Therapy Class of 1975 and has been a dedicated member of the Chan Division’s Board of Councilors since 2004, serving as Chair since 2020.
With a clinical career spanning four decades, she specialized in hand therapy rehabilitation and return-to-work programs through her private practice. Her work also included consulting in quality assurance and compliance for medical, Medicare, workers’ compensation, and disability insurance systems. Additionally, she contributed to the development of computer-based tools for objective assessment of physical capabilities and impairment ratings in work-specific settings.
Nagami previously served on the USC OT Faculty Practice Board of Directors (2010–2017) and remains actively involved in alumni leadership through the USC Alumni Association and the Trojan League of Orange County, where she served as President from 2020 to 2022.
Her continued service reflects a deep commitment to advancing occupational therapy and supporting the mission of the USC Chan Division.
