Kimberly Morris-Eggleston OTD, OTR/L
Dr. Kimberly Morris-Eggleston received her bachelor’s degree in psychology from USC and her doctorate in occupational therapy from USC. She joined USC’s teaching faculty as Adjunct Instructor of Clinical Occupational Therapy in 2001, and also held administrative appointments as the division’s Director of Recruitment and Director of International Visitors.
For more than 20 years, she was a key member of the division’s undergraduate Occupational Science Minor instructional team. She co-developed two popular courses, OT 310 Creativity Workshop and OT 280 Essential Occupations of Emerging Adulthood, and taught several other courses. She earned her Doctorate of Occupational Therapy degree from USC Chan in 2015 with a portfolio titled “Living with Loss: Lifestyle Redesign® for Grieving College Students.”
Dr. Morris-Eggleston has held elected positions for the Occupational Therapy Association of California, including director of what was formerly known as OTAC’s San Gabriel Valley chapter. In 2024, she resigned from her USC faculty position in order to spend more time with her family.
Outside of the classroom, Dr. Morris-Eggleston mentored many undergraduate students and served as the first faculty advisor for Actively Moving Forward (AMF), a student organization she founded to help support grieving college students, Colleges Against Cancer, and Trojan Dance Marathon to benefit Children’s Hospital Los Angeles.
