Looking for 1 part-time and 1 full-time OT for a Sherman Oaks pediatric clinic.

S.P.O.T. (Skills. Play. Occupation. Therapy.) is a fun and unique sensory integration clinic with a DIR/Floortime concentration. High-quality therapy is provided to a diverse population of children who range from subtle, fine motor delays to non-speaking autistic clients. Clients are between 5 months and 15 years; the majority are between 3 and 10 years of age. This position presents an exciting opportunity for highly motivated and creative OTs to join a growing pediatric private practice in an outpatient, therapist-owned clinic in Sherman Oaks.

In this unique OT clinic environment, each family is seen privately in their own gym with suspended equipment and outdoor space. Due to this arrangement, parents and caregivers typically attend all sessions with their child. Therefore, therapists and children/families are able to build a warm relationship and experience decreased distractions by having their sessions in a private room. This opportunity offers excellent compensation and a great opportunity to increase independence in your career. This role is perfect for independent clinicians who are looking for supplemental hours/work.

Candidates will join a small, knowledgeable, dynamic, and energetic team in an ideal work environment where learning is a focus. Strong supervision and collaboration with other team members is supported. Pay is based on education, experience, and qualifications. Although the owner prides herself on having the highest-paid OTs in the area. Employees and clients are long-standing.

Although at least 5 years of experience in pediatrics is preferred, occupational therapists with less experience are welcome to apply if they are comfortable with treating a wide variety of children independently and providing 1:1 parent education in every session. Knowledge regarding sensory processing difficulties is an essential quality for any candidate. Strong attention to detail and stellar report writing are critical skills for this position.
