What brought you to occupational therapy?
USC’s SOTI program in 2019. I really like the holistic idea of OT and how it aims to improve people’s overall well-being.

Describe your background before coming to occupational therapy.
I graduated from NYU in 2020 with a BS in Applied Psychology and a minor in Business Studies, so NYC has a special place in my heart. But I’m super excited to explore the west coast!

What are some of the occupations you engage in?
Ceramics, cooking, craft-making, painting, window-shopping, watching Broadway shows / musicals / opera, etc. (basically any type of performing arts — an interest I developed in NYC). I’m a huge foodie, so I look forward to exploring the food in LA. I enjoy learning about different cultures through food and art. I’m also obsessed with visiting museums. I love to explore new things, so I really like to wander in the city. I am pretty outdoorsy. I’m not really into sports, but I love to hike, go to national parks, and travel.

If you could be immortal, what age would you choose to stop aging at and why?
I would choose to stop aging at 27. Somehow I think at 27, I will be mature enough to face most of my problems in life, and at the same time young enough to travel around and make stupid mistakes.

If you could travel anywhere, where would it be?
I would go to the Amazon rain forest if I could. When I was a kid, I used to flip through a lot of children’s encyclopedias of animals and plants, and I really loved the diversity of species in the Amazon rainforest.
