Tayler Brown OTD ’26
Hometown: Gardena, CA
Program: Entry-Level Doctorate (OTD), Class of 2026
What are some of the occupations you engage in?
I’m a total foodie, so I live for trying new restaurants with my friends and family—giving my best influencer-style reviews (even though I’m not one… yet!). I’m also a huge creative at heart. If it involves arts and crafts, count me in! I love painting, sewing, and my latest obsession—crocheting. Next up on my creative bucket list? Pottery!
If you could travel anywhere, where would it be?
Either Egypt to see the breathtaking Great Pyramids of Giza or Madagascar because… I mean, who wouldn’t want to experience the beauty of its wildlife and landscapes firsthand?
How do you plan to use OT in the future?
With my love for all things arts and crafts, I can totally see myself using creative activities as a way to connect with my patients. Art is such a powerful tool in therapy, and I’d love to incorporate it into my practice to bring joy and healing to others!
You have your own late night talk show, who do you invite as your first guest?
Such a fun question! Without a doubt, my first guest would be the Keke Palmer. She’s hilarious, talented, and so unapologetically herself—what’s not to love?!
What’s the best piece of advice you’ve ever been given?
My grandmother has always reminded me to embrace my most authentic self. Being true to your passions, interests, and beliefs is what makes you you—and that, in itself, is inspiring. I’ve taken that wisdom and made it my personal motto: “Living authentically.” It’s truly freeing!
