The OT House’s community outreach program, Engage, fosters the relationship between USC graduate students and the surrounding community. Volunteers assist in designing and participating in recreational activities for at-risk elementary school children focusing on increasing personal skill development.
Activities include: crafts, team bonding activities, and meaningful occupations that promote health, positive social interactions and overall well-being. Sessions, which included a healthy dinner, are provided on a weekly basis to enrich the lives of children at the OT House.
Engage takes place on Wednesdays from 5:00-7:15pm.
