<li>Schedules high volume client appointments according to availability of space, availability of medical personnel, provider availability, equipment needs, etc. Maintains daily, weekly and monthly client appointments. Communicates schedules to students, faculty, staff, or other medical facilities, as appropriate. Provides a high level of customer service for all clients.</li>

<li>Receives and screens client telephone calls or visits. Takes messages and provides information to clients or customers. Registers client according to established protocol. Confirms client&#8217;s identification and demographic information. Maintains client accounts and refers to business office as necessary.</li>

<li>Reviews schedule on a regular basis and communicates any changes, such as no shows, time constraints, conflicts and other scheduling difficulties to appropriate personnel.</li>

<li>Provides benefit and eligibility details to the patient and collects payment.</li>

<li>Prepares and distributes monthly scheduling reports to internal clients and management as assigned. Maintains electronic files, databases and records used to prepare master scheduling template documents. Prepares reports and correspondence as needed.</li>

<li>Performs clerical duties, such as data entry, filing, faxing, photocopying, distributing mail, and/or performs other incidental department tasks, as assigned. Covers other areas as needed.</li>

<li>Ensures patient&#8217;s right to privacy, safety and confidentiality are maintained in accordance with HIPAA regulations.</li>

<li>Maintains a safe environment in accordance with compliance standards, policies and safety regulations. Ensures compliance with established infection control policies.</li>
</ul>

<p>Preferred Experience: 2 years</p>

<p>The hourly rate range for this position is $20.47 - $25.00.         <p>The Chan Division of Occupational Science and Occupational Therapy at the University of Southern California invites applicants to apply for a clinical faculty position at the Occupational Therapy Faculty Practice. The successful candidate will provide Lifestyle Redesign services to patients with a variety of physical and mental health conditions. The primary functions of this position will include delivering high quality, evidence-based, patient-centered care with opportunities for interdisciplinary collaboration. As a clinical faculty member, candidates will also engage is general service, student-centered and scholarly activities and will be expected to participate in fieldwork education and training to occupational therapy students. Major duties include providing comprehensive patient care including patient evaluation and treatment planning for effective patient outcomes, patient care documentation, attendance at patient care related meetings, participation in interdisciplinary team meetings, and maintenance of an appropriate level of productivity. Collaboration with interdisciplinary team members, participation in instructional activities, and adherence to policies, procedures and safety regulations are key aspects of this role. Candidate must demonstrate knowledge of current practice in the field of Occupational Therapy, effective verbal and written communication skills, and mature and sound judgment.</p>

<p>Qualifications include an earned doctoral degree (OTD, Ph.D.), excellent clinical ability (with clinical experience in Lifestyle Redesign®, mental health, and health promotion and wellness services preferred), experience working with Faculty Practice Area young adults, adults, and older adults, a current license to practice occupational therapy in California, and current BCLS CPR certification and knowledge of emergency first aid procedures.</p>

<p>The annual base salary range for this position is $90,000-$95,000. <p>Clinical Faculty Position –Occupational Therapy Department, USC Arcadia Hospital</p>

<p>The Division of Occupational Science and Occupational Therapy at the University of Southern California invites applicants for a full-time clinical faculty position in an acute rehabilitation unit, with floating to acute care and outpatient occupational therapy as needed. The successful candidate will work with the Division&#8217;s faculty members to develop and implement occupational therapy services and direct patient care in coordination with the interdisciplinary team and in compliance with organizational goals and appropriate regulatory agencies. Position is available in the acute rehabilitation unit at USC Arcadia Hospital. Qualifications include: excellent clinical ability (advanced practice in neurological rehabilitation, critical care, general acute care, and/or cardiopulmonary services preferred); experience working in adult physical rehabilitation; and current license to practice occupational therapy in California. This position is available 03/01/2025.</p>

This position also involves strengthening partnerships with existing fieldwork sites through mentorship of fieldwork educators, and developing new sites including opportunities in innovative and role-emerging settings. The Academic Fieldwork Coordinator, along with the fieldwork team will plan and present student orientations and fieldwork seminars for educators in the community. Additionally, all Academic Fieldwork Coordinators collaborate to maintain compliance with the American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA) Accreditation Council for Occupational Therapy Education (ACOTE) standards.         <p>The Mrs. T.H. Chan Division of Occupational Science and Occupational Therapy at the University of Southern California invites applicants for one full-time 12-month clinical faculty position.&nbsp; The successful candidate will work with the Division’s current faculty members to create and teach course work in the entry-level occupational therapy doctorate (OTD) program focused on mental health practice, with particular attention to critical approaches and linkages to sanism and Mad Studies. The primary functions of this position will include teaching and mentoring graduate students, as well as collaborating on curriculum development to strengthen mental health, mad studies and anti-ableism/sanism content throughout the e-OTD curriculum; engaging in scholarship related to work in the Division and in the profession; and serving on committees as assigned or requested. </p>

<p>Qualifications include an earned terminal degree (O.T.D., or Ph.D. in occupational science preferred), experience teaching graduate course work in occupational therapy, lived experience of mental illness or identification with Mad communities, as well as a current OT license and eligibility to practice occupational therapy in California. Additional certifications may include peer provider or psychiatric rehabilitation.&nbsp; Experience in course and/or curriculum development and interests in mad studies, critical psychiatry preferred. Ideally, doctoral work will have been completed within the mental health practice space.</p>
