Lifestyle Redesign® for College Students

While being in college is exciting, it can also come with difficulties in balancing academics, social activities, health, and wellness. The Lifestyle Redesign® program for college students was created to support undergraduate and graduate students across USC’s campuses and the Los Angeles area in establishing health-promoting habits and routines customized to help them meet their personal goals. Our certified and licensed occupational therapists provide health coaching to address a variety of lifestyle concerns, which include:

  • Creating lifestyle balance
  • Managing stress and anxiety
  • Improving time management and organization
  • Decreasing procrastination
  • Increasing focus and concentration
  • Adjusting to campus life
  • Addressing social or dating anxiety
  • Creating a restorative sleep routine
  • Engaging in physical activity
  • Developing healthy eating routines
  • Learning to prevent or manage chronic conditions

How It Works

  1. Call to schedule an appointment.
  2. Meet individually with an occupational therapist to review your current needs and goals for the future sessions.
  3. Participate in weekly sessions with your occupational therapist.  Sessions are typically 30-60 minutes and the number of sessions varies by person.

Payment Information

  • If you have USC Student Health Insurance, your sessions will be covered with a co-payment.  You will need a referral from your USC Student Health Center or Student Counseling.
  • For any other insurance plan, we will do a complimentary benefits check to tell you if your plan covers OT and if any co-pays or co-insurances apply.  You may need a referral.
  • Private pay options are also available.
