Lifestyle Redesign®

Lifestyle Redesign is an innovative occupational therapy intervention framework developed at USC Chan that has been shown to improve health and wellness through building healthier lifestyles. Changing behaviors takes time and is a complex process, but we know that lifestyle choices directly influence the state of our physical, mental, cognitive, and emotional health.

At USC Chan, the Lifestyle Redesign Knowledge Mobilization Initiative (LR-KMI) team (pictured below), a group of clinicians, researchers, and educators, is synergizing their work in novel ways to educate and train  graduate students and licensed occupational therapy practitioners (OTPs) on Lifestyle Redesign techniques, develop innovative research on health and well-being, study people’s lived experiences, and scale interventions for diverse populations. The team is establishing a Lifestyle Redesign® Certification (LRC), which will enable certified OTPs to apply their advanced training and market their services as Lifestyle Redesign, among other benefits.
