Managing Diabetes

This section focuses on the interaction of diabetes care and everyday life activities. It provides a review of treatment and complications, to remedy gaps in knowledge. Additionally, this section has tools to establish new diabetes self-care habits and routines and break undesired ones. This section reviews strategies for managing diabetes while participating in activities that can pose diabetes self-care challenges, such as while traveling or away from home, while drinking alcohol, or during crisis situations. The aim of this section is to assist you in developing an understanding of the relationship between diabetes self-care and other activities in your everyday life, and how to fine-tune your daily activities and routines to best accommodate your diabetes self-care needs.
