Lifestyle Redesign®
Recharge Center / Consultation Request

The Lifestyle Redesign Recharge Center provides access to specialized consultation from Lifestyle Redesign Certified® USC Chan faculty and staff. Through the Recharge Center, researchers, clinicians, organizations, and other partners can draw on our team’s expertise to support projects involving Lifestyle Redesign research, program development and evaluation, clinical practice, and dissemination.

Consultation is tailored to the needs and scope of each project. Our team will work with you to understand your goals, identify the type of support that would be most helpful, and match your project with a consultant whose expertise aligns with your needs. The process begins with an initial discovery meeting to discuss your project, scope, and consultation options.

Explore our consultation services and rates below, or submit a Consultation Request Form to start a conversation with our team.

Who can use the Recharge Center?

Consultation is available to USC faculty, staff, and researchers, as well as external researchers, clinicians, healthcare organizations, educational institutions, and other organizations interested in applying or advancing Lifestyle Redesign.

Our consultants are Lifestyle Redesign Certified USC Chan faculty and staff selected for their expertise and alignment with your project’s needs. Clients may request a specific consultant, though final selections are made by the LR-KMI considering availability and project requirements. Before entering into a consultation agreement, an initial discovery meeting will be held to discuss project scope, complexity, and pricing options. A written Scope of Work will be provided for review.

Clients within the University of Southern California can engage consultants at a discounted rate of $120/hour[1]. Clients external to the University of Southern California are welcome to engage consultants on an hourly basis at $175/hour[1], or choose one of several optional packages.

Note that there is a 3-hour minimum for all projects charged on an hourly basis.

Notes

  1. Certain projects requiring highly specialized expertise may be at a higher rate.
  2. Products may be submitted for comments (i.e., high-level feedback) and/or line edits (i.e., detailed feedback), with line edits incurring higher fees to account for the additional time required for review. Products submitted for feedback should, in general, not exceed 5,000 words. All materials submitted must be in a near-final draft form. This means the content should be substantially complete, well-organized, and free from major gaps or placeholders. Submissions should be ready for detailed review, focusing on refinement rather than initial development.
  3. Project complexity is determined by LR-KMI after an initial meeting with the potential client to discuss specifics of the project and proposed scope.
