Justin Santos Benigno OTD, OTR/L earned his bachelor’s degree in Human Biology from the University of California, Santa Cruz and his doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy from the University of Southern California. He completed his doctoral capstone in program development at Exodus Recovery: Safe Landing, which involved the development of a Community Integration Protocol and Resource Guide designed to combat social isolation through community and improve readiness for permanent supportive housing. Through facilitated outings and the cultivation of local partnerships, Dr. Benigno’s project aimed to equip residents with the skills and confidence for sustainable community living. Currently, he works as an assistant professor of clinical occupational therapy in the Acute Rehabilitation Unit at USC Arcadia.
