2023 USC Chan Commencement

The USC Chan Division of Occupational Science and Occupational Therapy celebrated its 81st Commencement ceremony on Friday, May 12, 2023, at the USC University Park Campus.

Commencement Speaker was Erna Imperatore Blanche MA ’88, PhD ’98. Dr Blanche is an expert in pediatric occupational therapy and therapeutic interventions based on occupational science. She is currently a Professor of Clinical Occupational Therapy at the USC Chan Division, where she has held a full-time faculty position since 2003. Dr. Blanche’s research interests are in the areas of play, clinical evaluation of children with developmental disabilities including autism and the relationship between sensory processing and lifestyle choices.
