2024 USC Chan White Coat Ceremony

On Friday, September 13, 2024, the USC Chan Division of Occupational Science and Occupational Therapy’s 2024 White Coat Ceremony formally celebrated the entrance of our incoming students into the occupational therapy profession.

The keynote address was given by Stephanie Moon MA ’17, OTD ’18, director of occupational therapy in the Housing for Health Division of the Los Angeles County Department of Health Services. Bonnie Nakasuji ’73, MA ’94, OTD ’08, co-founder and co-owner of Therapy West, Inc., a pediatric private clinic in West Los Angeles, welcomed the students into the Trojan Family.

ACOTE accreditation | NBCOT certification

The USC entry-level master’s degree program (cost of attendance) is fully accredited by the Accreditation Council for Occupational Therapy Education® (ACOTE®) of the American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA). The USC entry-level doctorate in occupational therapy (OTD) degree program (cost of attendance) has applied for accreditation and has been granted Preaccreditation Status by ACOTE®.
