Merry Lee, OTD, OTR/L, SWC, has been a treating occupational therapist since 2009. She received her Master of Arts degree in Occupational Therapy and Occupational Therapy Doctorate from the University of Southern California. She also graduated from UC Davis with a B.S. in Exercise Biology and a B.A. in Psychology.
At USC Chan Division of Occupational Science and Occupational Therapy, Dr. Lee is a clinical assistant professor of occupational therapy where she primarily teaches in the pediatrics immersion and in the online sensory integration continuing education certificate courses, and serves as a faculty advisor as well as a faculty mentor for students in their final year in the program. Other courses she has taught: OT 617 Visionaries: Innovation and Technology to Promote Occupation and OT 517 Foundations of Occupations: Sensory Processing in Daily Life.
Dr. Lee is certified in the Sensory Integration and Praxis Tests (SIPT), and she has received advanced practice certification in Swallowing Assessment, Evaluation, or Intervention from the California Board of Occupational Therapy.
Dr. Lee has spent the last 14 years primarily working at Pediatric Therapy Network, where she has held different roles: therapist, former supervisor and former director of the PTN occupational therapy department. She has had extensive experience with the pediatric population. Dr. Lee is passionate about providing family-centred care for families and mentoring occupational therapists and future OTs.
