Stephani Gharehptian OTD, OTR/L (she/her)

Dr. Gharehptian obtained both her Master of Arts and Doctoral degrees in Occupational Therapy from the University of Southern California and completed a fellowship at the California Leadership Education in Neurodevelopmental and Related Disabilities Training Program (CA-LEND).

Dr. Gharehptian completed her doctoral residency at The Violence Intervention Program (VIP), a community-based mental health clinic located in Los Angeles. As clinical faculty, she is continuing her work providing individualized occupational therapy services to children and adolescents with varying mental health diagnoses, including clients diagnosed with fetal alcohol spectrum disorder (FASD). Dr. Gharehptian has experience working within interdisciplinary teams, engaging in program development for youth with I/DD & FASD, and advocacy centered around promoting OT’s role within pediatric mental health. She is dedicated to providing culturally inclusive care, particularly supporting and empowering monolingual Spanish-speaking families served at VIP.
