Kaitlyn Kim is an Adjunct Assistant Professor of Clinical Occupational Therapy for the mental health immersion course. She completed both her master’s and doctorate degrees in occupational therapy at the University of Southern California, where she was first exposed to the various different populations and settings that occupational therapists work in and eventually fostered an immense passion in working in mental health. Aside from teaching, Kaitlyn also specializes in providing therapeutic interventions to adolescents and adults in an inpatient acute psychiatric facility. With a strong focus on mental health, she works collaboratively with patients to address their unique needs, foster emotional well-being and promote recovery.
Outside of her professional work, she enjoys playing golf, cycling, and spending time with her family (including her cats), which allows her to maintain a balanced, healthy lifestyle.
