Our information sessions are designed for prospective students interested in our master’s and PhD degree programs. For students interested in one of our other degree programs, please see the appropriate section below for contact information.
Master’s and Doctoral Programs
Entry-Level OTD Program Virtual Information Sessions
The Chan Division has initiated the process to transition the entry-level master’s to an accredited entry-level doctoral (OTD) program. This process requires review and approval by the Accreditation Council for Occupational Therapy Education® (ACOTE®) and the transition could occur as early as the 2021 application cycle (program start in 2022). Beginning in Spring 2021, USC Chan will offer admissions information sessions for the proposed entry-level OTD program, but please note that because this program is still in review, only limited information can be provided.
At our Entry-Level OTD Program Virtual Information Sessions, you will have the opportunity to hear from a member of our Admissions Team. The sessions are held online in a live chat format so you will be able to ask questions and interact directly with these USC administrative and educational leaders.
Our virtual information sessions use Zoom, a platform which is supported by almost any recent desktop or laptop computer, phone or tablet, and doesn’t require any download/installation of software.
Virtual information sessions are currently scheduled for:
- Tuesday, March 16, 2021, 5:00 – 6:30pm (Pacific Standard Time)
- Saturday, April 3, 2021, 10:00 – 11:30am (Pacific Standard Time)
- Wednesday, April 28, 2021, 5:00 – 6:30pm (Pacific Standard Time)

Post-Professional Master’s Program Virtual Information Sessions
At our Post-Professional Master of Arts Program Virtual Information Sessions, you will have the opportunity to hear from Program Director Dr. Emily Ochi, a member of our Admissions Team, and one of our student ambassadors. The sessions will be held online in a live chat format so you will be able to ask questions and interact directly with these USC administrative and educational leaders.
Our virtual information sessions use Zoom, a platform which is supported by almost any recent desktop or laptop computer, phone or tablet, and doesn’t require any download/installation of software.

PhD Program Virtual Information Sessions
At our PhD in Occupational Science Virtual Information Sessions, you will have the opportunity to hear from Program Director Dr. Shawn Roll, a member of our Admissions Team, and one of our current PhD students. The sessions will be held online in a live chat format so you will be able to ask questions and interact directly with these USC administrative and educational leaders.
Our virtual information sessions use Zoom, a platform which is supported by almost any recent desktop or laptop computer, phone or tablet, and doesn’t require any download/installation of software.

Occupational Science Minor Program

Bachelor’s-to-Master’s Program
USC Chan is in the process of transitioning from an entry-level master’s program to an entry-level Occupational Therapy Doctorate (OTD) program. This change could impact students as early as the bachelor’s graduating class of 2023. In the event that the Division moves to an entry-level OTD program while you are completing your bachelor’s degree, in order to remain in the OT program at USC you would will need to apply to and complete the OTD program following completion of your bachelor’s degree. Beginning in Spring 2021, USC Chan will offer admissions information sessions for the proposed entry-level OTD program, but please note that because this program is still in review, only limited information can be provided.
At our Bachelor’s-to-Master’s Program Virtual Information Sessions, prospective undergraduate students will have the opportunity to hear from one of our student ambassadors about our undergraduate occupational therapy program. The sessions will be held online in a live chat format so you will be able to ask questions and interact directly with the student ambassador.
