“On a sunny Friday afternoon in October, the donated backpacks of 1,100 college students who died by their own hands were scattered on the grass of USC’s Alumni Park. Personal stories, pictures and messages, written by the thousands of siblings, parents, cousins and friends of the deceased were pinned to the multicolored canvas.” Read more about Send Silence Packing, which was in part organized by USC occupational therapy students, at USC News online: USC Sends Silence Packing.
