Health Sciences Campus Gets Fit With New Center
August 30, 2011
USC’s Health Sciences campus kicked off the academic year with a new, 10,000-square-foot fitness center that opened on Aug. 22 in the 2001 Soto Street building.
The center — the first in the campus’ 59-year history — offers cardiovascular machines, treadmills and weight-lifting equipment. It’s open Monday through Friday from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Other amenities in the center include group fitness rooms, an outdoor basketball court, private Pilate lessons and massages.
Students and faculty can sign up for memberships during operational hours. Membership for the HSC center also apply to the Lyon Center on the University Park campus.
