Dr. Catherine, Hyon Min Shin received her Bachelor of Arts in Government from Smith College and her Master’s of Business Administration from Ewha Woman’s University and has professional experience working in various industries and international markets. Drawn by the profession’s holistic approach to health and wellness and commitment towards improved quality of life across the lifespan, Dr. Shin pursued a career in occupational therapy. She received both her Master’s and Clinical Doctorate in Occupational Therapy from the University of Southern California. Prior to joining the Chan Division as faculty, Dr. Shin practiced in pediatric occupational therapy and workplace wellness.

As Admissions Coordinator for the Entry-Level Doctorate in Occupational Therapy, Dr. Shin is dedicated to championing the role of occupational therapy in improving health and quality of life, inspiring the next generation of leaders in the profession.
