Michaelann Gabriele, OTD, OTR/L, is an Adjunct Assistant Professor of Clinical Occupational Therapy at the Mrs. T.H. Chan Division of Occupational Science and Occupational Therapy at the University of Southern California. She received her Bachelor’s Degree in Linguistics from Georgetown University and spent nearly 5 years in Italy teaching English as a Foreign Language to learners of all ages before completing her Master’s and Doctoral degrees in occupational therapy at the University of Southern California. She has spent more than a decade collaborating with local and state organizations on policy and advocacy to increase access to services for children in California and has developed expertise around documentation in pediatric occupational therapy settings. In clinical practice, she is a co-owner and director at Center for Developing Kids, Inc. in Pasadena, California, where she works with children and adolescents in clinic, school, and community settings.
