Hometown: Mumbai, India
Program: Post-Professional Master’s, Class of 2017
What brought you to occupational therapy?
Honestly, I chose occupational therapy out of curiosity as it seemed like it was a relatively new profession during that time in India. And I am very glad it happened!
What are some of the occupations you engage in?
Playing games and activities with children, gardening, playing guitar, studying, and cooking.
Tell us about your favorite memory from the program so far.
It was the hangout at Dr. Blanche’s house. We had a potluck and had food from various countries delicacies!
If you could visit any time in history, where would you go and why?
The time when Jesus was on earth. I could get a first-hand experience of all that is written about him in the Bible and from a retrospective point of view.
What are some small things that make your day better?
A child’s smile, speaking to my mom, petting dogs, watering my plants, and singing out loud in my car with my morning playlist!
