Come spend a day in my life as a first-year student in USC Chan’s Entry-Level Doctorate program! One of my favorite things about this program is that I am never bored with the curriculum. The curriculum ranges from foundational courses like philosophy, kinesiology, and neuroscience to exercising my creativity through reflective practices and crafts. No two days are alike, and I leave each class more passionate about the profession and inspired by the impact I want to make as a future practitioner.
If you have questions about the program, please don’t hesitate to reach out!

Join me as I take you through what a typical day looks like as an undergraduate student in USC Chan’s accelerated Bachelor’s to Doctorate program in Occupational Therapy! One of the things I love most about this program is the balance it allows me to strike between my occupational therapy (OT) courses, engaging electives, general education classes, extracurriculars, and free time.
From participating in enriching clubs and student organizations to spending quality time with friends and exploring the vibrant city of Los Angeles, I’m able to enjoy a well-rounded college experience while still focusing on my OT studies.
As always, if you have any questions about the BS-OTD program from an undergraduate perspective, feel free to reach out!

Ever wonder what it’s like to be an E-OTD student at USC Chan? Well, I’m here to show you!
Prior to starting grad school, I was a nervous wreck because I didn’t know what was in store for me. However, over time, I was able to realize that I have the ability to shape my grad school experience. Being a part of the USC Chan Trojan Family has been such a rewarding experience thus far, as it has taught me that being a student doesn’t need to consume my entire experience. Grad school is also the time to discover who you are and make memories that will last a lifetime.
I hope my short vlog is able to show you the lighthearted, fun, and exciting aspects of grad school! My journey has transformed from initial uncertainty to a fulfilling and balanced experience, and I’m so excited to share it with you. Thanks for watching and being a part of my grad school journey, and as always, Fight On!

Trojan Spirit ⟩

Hello! My name is Samantha Osuna. I’m in my second year of the Entry-Level OTD program & fifth at USC as a student in the Accelerated Bachelor’s to Doctorate program. As my fifth football season as a Trojan was coming to an end, I spent some time reflecting on the beauty of college football & the Trojan spirit that makes USC football games unique & exhilarating. I realized that this Trojan spirit–which represents the resilience, determination, & indomitable will of USC students on the field & in the classroom–is something I’ve cultivated over the last four & a half years or so. I know that not everyone in the Chan Division has had the same access that I have had and that American football may not be everybody’s cup of tea, but I do believe that USC game day has something to offer everyone, from tailgating to watching the band. It is the ultimate representation of Trojan spirit & the perfect way to share about it with others through a vlog! The 2023 football season may be over, but it’s never too late to embrace the Trojan spirit &, as always, Fight On!

Get to see the Health Science Campus where we have most of our classes and meet some of my friends here in the program. I also shared some clips of my adventures here in LA, particularly in the Grand Central Market, Griffith Park, and Venice Beach!
Happy watching!
