Assistant Professor of Clinical Occupational Therapy - FIXED TERM

The Mrs. T.H. Chan Division of Occupational Science and Occupational Therapy at the University of Southern California invites applicants for a one-year fixed term RTPC position. The successful candidate will work with the Associate Dean/Chair and the Associate Chair for Curriculum and Faculty on several responsibilities including document preparation for upcoming ACOTE accreditation application and site visit, especially the ACOTE C/D standards related to fieldwork education, teaching a Kinesiology course to graduate students in the occupational therapy program, developing internal Division communications, supporting strategic initiatives and other key faculty administrative/service roles in the chair’s office, and scholarship related to development and testing of clinical global indicators for clinical and research use. The anticipated load profile for the spring semester will be distributed as follows: 25% student-centered teaching/mentoring, 70% service/administrative, 5% scholarship.

The desired candidate will possess national certification as an occupational therapist and licensure in the State of California. Qualifications also include experience as an occupational therapist working in academic administrative and/or clinical-research settings. Preferred qualifications include knowledge of Kinesiology with clinical application to occupational therapy practice, and relevant experience in teaching in higher education and specifically in occupational therapy curricula.

The annual salary range for this position is $85,500-$90,000.
