Elissa Mooney Taylor, OTD, OTR/L, received her bachelor’s degree in exercise science and liberal arts from Montana State University, then went on to complete her master’s and doctorate of occupational therapy at the University of Southern California. Dr. Taylor completed her doctoral residency with Dr. Beth Pyatak’s Lifestyle Redesign for Chronic Conditions research lab, providing Lifestyle Redesign interventions at the Adult West Primary Care Clinic at LAC+USC. Dr. Taylor then went on to work with older adults with cognitive impairments and dementia as the rehab director at an assisted living and memory care facility.
