Kristy Payne earned her clinical doctorate in occupational therapy specializing in the prevention and management of chronic conditions. At the USC Occupational Therapy Faculty Practice, Dr. Payne has worked with clients from diverse Lifestyle Redesign® programs including student health, diabetes management, mental health, chronic pain and headache management, weight management, and oncology care.

As a clinical assistant professor, Dr. Payne is active in the Occupational Science Minor Program and is passionate about equipping the next generation of healthcare providers with the necessary tools to effect meaningful change in the lives of others. Dr. Payne looks forward to continuing her clinical work developing lifestyle-based health programming and expanding occupational therapy’s role in wellness and prevention.
