Juliana is an Occupational Therapist with over 30 years of experience working with the pediatric population with varying diagnoses. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy from the University of Nuestra Señora del Rosario in Bogotá, Colombia, and later completed her Master’s and Clinical Doctorate at the University of Southern California (USC) in Los Angeles, CA. Juliana has an Advanced Practice Certification in feeding and swallowing and is certified in Sensory Integration theory, evaluation, and treatment, as well as in the Neurodevelopment Treatment approach. She currently works as a supervisor of clinical practice and coordinator of the early intervention group program (TWISP) at Therapy West, Inc. and has lectured nationally and internationally in various topics including the continued education courses in sensory integration (course 2 and 3 and special topics), as well as on ASD, fine motor skills, and development.
