Chan Division Education Track

About the Residency

During the academic year, residents will participate in various aspects of teaching, including course preparation and student assessment, either within the USC Chan OS minor, undergraduate, entry-level master’s or post-professional master’s occupational therapy programs. The residents may also contribute to the curriculum development of the USC Chan Division’s entry-OTD program and/or engage in a variety of administrative leadership functions throughout their residency experience, such as ACOTE accreditation. It is anticipated that the resident will dedicate 30 hours/week during fall and spring semesters and 40 hours/week in the summer.

Financial support

The resident will receive a Graduate Assistantship award, which covers 24 units of tuition, plus a stipend, as well as health and dental insurance and the student health center fee.
