Cecilia Tran received her bachelor’s degrees in psychology & social behavior and sociology from the University of California, Irvine. She then completed her master’s degree and clinical doctorate in occupational therapy at the University of Southern California. Her doctoral work and early career focused on occupational therapy in primary care, specifically at a Federally Qualified Health Center where she developed programs related to chronic condition management and healthy living. Later, she transitioned to working in adult rehabilitation in settings across the continuum of care, including inpatient, skilled nursing, and acute rehabilitation.

Cecilia has earned Board Certification in Physical Rehabilitation from the American Occupational Therapy Association and currently works as Assistant Professor of Clinical Occupational Therapy at Keck Hospital of USC.
