Advance for Occupational Therapy Practitioners recently featured alumna Carly Rogers OTD ’11, MA ’04 and her Ocean Therapy adaptive surfing program designed to assist military veterans coping with mental and physical illness to access the ocean environment and readjust and reintegrate to civilian life. Rogers, who initially developed the program as a USC occupational therapy graduate student, is the Director of Programs at the Jimmy Miller Foundation.
