“I am delighted, honored and privileged to accept this new position,” Lawlor said. “I look forward to working with AOTF and the occupational therapy and occupational science communities to support impactful scholarship that addresses societal needs, facilitates research engagements and generates new pathways for evidence-based occupational therapy.”
Based in Bethesda, Maryland, AOTF is a non-profit organization which supports occupational therapy research and the public’s awareness of the relationships between everyday activities and health through grants, scholarships, programming and publications.
AOTF’s Board of Trustees is governed by an elected board consisting of members from the public and from the profession of occupational therapy.
