Viviana Padilla le tiene un gran regalo a sus padres, su graduación de su maestría en terapia ocupacional por la Universidad del Sur de California (USC).
El sueño lo alcanzó con el apoyo de la Iniciativa Vecinal (NAI) de USC, un intensivo y riguroso programa que se enfoca en trabajar con los niños del sur y este de Los Ángeles. El objetivo es que los niños vayan a la universidad con el apoyo muy estrecho de sus padres.
“Me siento muy orgullosa”, dice satisfecha Viviana quien al tercer intento consiguió ser aceptada para hacer su posgrado en USC.
Viviana Padilla has a great gift for her parents: graduation with her master’s degree in occupational therapy from the University of Southern California (USC).
The dream was achieved with the support of USC’s Neighborhood Academic Initiative (NAI), an intensive and rigorous program that focuses on children living in south and east Los Angeles. The program’s goal is for children, with very close support from their parents, to attend university.
“I feel very proud,” says a satisfied Viviana who, on her third attempt, was admitted to postgraduate studies at USC.
