Angela Hall OTD ’25

Hometown: Los Angeles, CA
Program: Entry-Level Doctorate (OTD), Class of 2025

What brought you to occupational therapy?
Observing my nephews personal growth by receiving OT for early intervention and how his OT incorporated holistic approach to therapy.

What area of practice are you interested in?
The area of practice that I am interested in is working on pediatrics with children who have special needs.

Describe your background before coming to occupational therapy.
I am a first generation student who wanted to pursue higher education but never thought I would go as far as graduate school. I currently work at a childcare as a facility director and bought my first home with my fiancé. Breaking many generational barriers!

What’s the best piece of advice you’ve ever been given?
The best piece of advice I have received is to trust the process and one day at a time. These two phrases have helped me tremendously to focus on one thing when the big picture gets overwhelming.

If you could travel anywhere, where would it be?
If I could travel anywhere, I would travel to Spain, Switzerland and Italy. I would love to be able to travel the world and experience different cultures.
