What brought you to occupational therapy?
I was drawn to occupational therapy by its holistic and individualized approach to health and well-being.
Describe your background before coming to occupational therapy.
Occupational therapy has been my goal since learning about the field in high school. I received my bachelor’s degree in psychobiology from Santa Clara University in 2018. During my year between undergrad and grad school, I had the incredible opportunity to work with a non-profit that helps adults with various disabilities return to the job field. This experience served to solidify my interest and excitement for occupational therapy.
What are some of the occupations you engage in?
I love to read, hike, play ultimate frisbee, play soccer, and spend time socializing with my family and friends.
If your childhood had a smell, what would it be?
Sunscreen.
What are some small things that make your day better?
Tea, sunsets, and good conversation.
