What brought you to occupational therapy?
My sister is an OT so I’ve known about the profession for quite a while. I was inspired to pursue this profession when I volunteered at early intervention pediatric clinics and worked as a therapy technician at an outpatient hand therapy clinic. I love how OT beautifully merges science and arts to improve the quality of people’s lives!
What area of practice are you interested in?
Mostly pediatrics, but I am open to other areas as well.
Describe your background before coming to occupational therapy.
I graduated from UC Irvine with a Bachelor’s in Public Health Sciences. I also have some experience in interior design.
What are some of the occupations you engage in?
Dancing, cooking, meditating . . . more recently, taking care of my plants!
If you could travel anywhere, where would it be?
Santorini, Greece . . . or Iceland!
You have your own late night talk show, who do you invite as your first guest?
I would love to have Steve Carrell as Michael Scott. I’m a huge fan of The Office.
