What brought you to occupational therapy?
When I was in high school, my little cousin was diagnosed with autism. My family felt discouraged about the outlook of any improvement, but then he was introduced to an occupational therapist. His OT was the warmest and most compassionate person, and she instilled confidence and hope in both my little cousin and our family. She incorporated sports, music, and art into his therapy, and I was drawn to the creativity of OT. I love how OT is so relational and versatile!
