Noelle Pardo OS Minor ’20

What brought you to USC?
When I visited campus, I immediately feel in love with our school spirit and pride, the Trojan Family, and the stellar programs offered. I also knew I wanted to go to a school that emphasized interdisciplinary studies and flexibility regarding majors and minors. USC was just the perfect fit!

What made you decide to pursue the occupational science minor?
My sophomore year I took OT 220 Lifestyle Design with some of my friends because we thought it would be a fun elective class. It was my first exposure to the field of Occupational Therapy and I quickly realized how important occupations are for a person’s happiness and health. That summer, I enjoyed shadowing two occupational therapy offices and decided to add the OS minor!

Tell us about your favorite memory at USC so far.
One of my favorite memories so far is that day I became a tour guide for USC! I was so excited to represent our school and join the Admission Center family! I have met so many great people because of it and I love being able to help prospective students with choosing a college!

What are some of the occupations you engage in?
Beach volleyball, swimming, hiking, reading.

What are some small things that make your day better?
First and foremost, Salt and Straw ice cream always makes my day better! Otherwise, a sunny day, riding my skateboard, listening to music, or hanging out with my friends always brings a smile to my face.

What song can you sing entirely by heart?
Mr. Brightside by The Killers.
