What brought you to USC?
USC carries strong academics, connections, and also research opportunities, but is in general an all around university in the holistic college student experience. You can find everything and more here at USC and this can already be seen without even having to have stepped foot on campus yet.

What made you decide to pursue the occupational science minor?
Occupational therapy is a growing field that many do not have knowledge in yet, but is one that is truly interesting in pursuing. I came in knowing I wanted to pick up the minor from the beginning after engaging with an occupational therapist in my mother’s special education classroom.

Tell us about your favorite memory at USC so far.
Just recently, members of the Black community here at USC celebrated the birthday and celebration of the life of Victor McElhaney, who recently lost his life to a senseless act of violence, by attending Leimert Park. We danced in the African drum circle with other members of the community and celebrated life together with amazing food, amazing people, and it was all within celebrating the Black community at USC but also the community that surrounds USC.

What song can you sing entirely by heart?
Like A Star by J. Cole.

What are some small things that make your day better?
When the sun shines and the breeze comes along with it because it is the best weather when I ride my bike around campus.
